Carmen combines a background in fine art and design with professional culinary technique, treating every experience as a visual and tactile work of art. Driven by the spirit of Hou Mei — delivering the warmth of homemade food cooked with love — she stepped out of commercial kitchens catering major events, weddings, and private parties to cook with people, not just for them. Having facilitated hands-on workshops across Melbourne for local councils, corporate teams, and community activations, she brings groups together to prep, cook, and share unforgettable meals.
